Population Ecology

This credential documents competencies including a general understanding of biochemistry and general chemistry, the scientific method, a general understanding of DNA makeup and replication, conservation, evolution, ecosystems, and ecological communities. Job requirements span a wide continuum depending upon the specific position and industry. Specifically, this badge demonstrates the earner's ability to explain the basic concepts of population ecology including population dynamics, population growth models, major factors that affect populations over time, and application of these concepts.
