Civil Liberties in the Criminal Justice System

The Constitutional Law credentials document competencies including knowledge of the U.S. Constitution’s creation of facilities and structures for the separation of powers, allocation of powers between federal and state government, judicial review, congressional authority, presidential and agency powers, and protections of individual rights. Though many of these positions require appropriate education at various levels and additional training, a fundamental understanding of constitutional law provides a foundation that supports many aspects of daily tasks and decision-making.
