Specifically, this badge demonstrates the earner's ability to explain how microorganisms cause Infections and disease in host organisms including the etiology of infectious disease, predisposition and development of disease, the spread of the infection, the classification of infectious Diseases, nosocomial Infections and emerging infectious Diseases, and the study of infectious Diseases.
