Spanish Texas—The Last Years, 1763–1821

These credentials document competencies including overall knowledge of the Texas history including major events, people, and factors in its historical development. Though many of these positions require appropriate education at various levels and numerous types of training, a fundamental understanding of Texas history supports many aspects of the daily task and strategic decision-making. Specifically, this badge demonstrates the earner's ability to describe Texas from 1763 through 1821 including the major events, the key people, the changing governance, and the changing culture.
