Art Appreciation from 1900 to the Present

The Art Appreciation credentials document competencies including knowledge of world art, fine and applied art, painting, sculpture, design, and crafts. Though many positions in art appreciation require appropriate education at various levels and additional training, a fundamental understanding of art provides foundational knowledge that supports many aspects of daily of tasks and decision-making for artists, teachers, librarians, curators, musicians, designers, and researchers.
