The Elements of Music

The Music Appreciation credentials document competencies that include activities surrounding music such as therapy, direction, composition, creation, arrangement, development of education materials, teaching, singing, instrument repair, writing, research, curation, and engineering. Specifically, this badge demonstrates the earner's ability to explain the different elements of music, including melody, pitch, rhythm, tempo, harmony, different musical forms, how music is organized, how music is made, what makes up an orchestra, rehearsals, live performances, recorded performances, and historical references of music.
