Color

The Physics credentials document competencies in areas related to mechanics, materials, gasses and liquids, heating and cooling, acoustics, optics, electricity, and magnetism, radiation and nuclear physics, architecture, and a variety of related research and education areas. Specifically, this badge demonstrates the earner's ability to explain physics concepts by applying knowledge and solving problems related to color including selective reflection, selective transmission, results of mixing colored lights and colored pigments, and applications to the color of the sky, sunsets, clouds, and water.
