PURPOSE
This credential documents the competencies required for establishing a positive and proactive career mindset. Competencies include demonstrating an understanding of the importance of establishing a job search plan using proven strategies, documenting their experiences and skills effectively in applications and resumes, creating well-written cover letters for specific positions, preparing for interviews, networking, and researching potential employers. Additional competencies involve key professional skills required in any job: communication, conflict management, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.

AUDIENCE
This badge is appropriate for any entry-level professional preparing for and moving through the job search process and entering into the workforce. 

JOB/CAREER REQUIREMENTS
Those entering the workplace must move through the job search process. This includes developing knowledge and skills required for the job search and developing job search tools required to present their knowledge, skills, and experiences to potential employers. Additionally, all employees should have a solid understanding of the professional knowledge and skills required to operate in the workplace in a professional, ethical, and effective manner.
